Savings Account - This is a basic savings account that establishes your
membership in the credit union.
Checking
Account - Credit union checking is free; all you pay
for are the checks themselves, and any exception items.
Use your checks to pay bills or make purchases. You can
also apply for a debit (check) card, a plastic check thats
readily accepted wherever Visa is honored; it clears directly
from your checking account, just as paper checks do.
ATM
Access - Use your check card, or apply for an ATM Cache
Card for account access at network ATMs worldwide and at
select Point-of-Sale (POS) locations, such as supermarkets
and gas stations. Some POS locations also offer a cash-back
option, often without a surcharge. If you’re not in the
vicinity of MHVFCU ATMs, you can avoid ATM surcharges at
Key Bank ATMs in New York State or any ATM nationwide bearing
a SUM or Co-Op Network logo.
