THE MHV COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE

Central to MHV’s commitment to our communities is The Community Relations Committee. This group of MHV employees reviews requests for charitable contributions and partnerships to ensure all fulfillment of these requests enables MHV to effectively carry out its mission.  The Committee works with non-profit and community based organizations throughout our field of membership, helping to give back to in-need populations and making a positive difference in their lives.  Although we consider all types of funding requests, MHV is focused on four core charitable causes:

 Education

∘ Local Community Development

Health and Wellness

Human and Social Services

MHV is accepting applications for sponsorship of 2024 programs and events. We ask that all potential partners submit a sponsorship request via the online form below and submit requests between 60-90 days prior to the date of the event/when funds are needed. Please fill out all the information to the best of your abilities and be sure to include any required attachments.

TESTIMONIALS FROM COMMUNITY LEADERS

  • MHVFCU is a long-time community partner of the United Way of Ulster County. Staff have volunteered as board members, Loaned Executives, and allocations committee members. They run a fabulous United Way campaign in their workplace, field a team of volunteers for our annual Day of Caring, sponsor many events, and most recently donated some gently used office furniture! We are so lucky to have them as a corporate sponsor. Thanks so much for all you do for Ulster County!
Su Marcy, President, United Way of Ulster County
  • MHV’s generous end of year donation to our organization was a great holiday surprise for us…MHV is helping us to continue our important work, now in our 30th year, which includes protecting our natural resources, and providing educational programming as well as recreational access to beautiful public preserves. Thank you MHV!
