Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHV) is thrilled to announce that our Rhinebeck Branch has completed the Autism Supportive Environment℠ (ASE) program.

We partnered with Anderson Center for Autism to complete the training. According to Anderson, the ASE program is designed to assist businesses in understanding, serving, and supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.

To complete the certification, our Rhinebeck Branch underwent an assessment by a consultant from Anderson Center for Autism. This assessment gauged the branch’s processes and environment. Then, each staff member completed a training to “provide awareness of ASD characteristics and recommended supports to those serving and interacting with customers with autism and their families/caregivers in community settings.”

“All individuals deserve access to the financial services and guidance they need for their individual journeys,” said Christopher Gomez, MHV’s Chief Retail Officer. “MHV is proud to work with Anderson Center for Autism on this certification. We look forward to potentially rolling it out to our other Branch Locations.”
