Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHV) proudly hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at our Peekskill branch location on April 21, 2022.

While the branch officially opened its doors on January 10, we waited for warmer weather to celebrate.

The event featured remarks from Wayne Winkler and Christopher Gomez, MHV’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Experience Officer respectively, as well as Peekskill Mayor Vivian McKenzie, Senator Peter Harckham, County Legislator Colin Smith, and President of the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce President Deb Milone.

Refreshments and gifts were sourced from local businesses including TerraDulce Bakery, Ari’s Elixir (formerly Whipped Butter Cream), and With Love, Jessi’s Sweet Treats.

“It’s been a pleasure working with the Peekskill community to bring this project to fruition,” said Mr. Winkler. “We look forward to continuing to serve the individuals, businesses, and non-profits of Peekskill.”

Michael Mattone, MHV’s VP of Community Impact, was recognized by Senator Harckham with a Commendation Award at the ribbon cutting for his volunteerism and participation within the Peekskill community.
