Robert Mills has joined Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHV) as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer. As Chief Information Officer, he will direct the credit union’s technology infrastructure and information systems while developing short and long-term technology plans to provide efficient and cost-effective tools to the organization. The CIO will also oversee information security and project management.
When asked what interests him most about joining MHV, Mills noted: “I think that I am most excited about the teams and the possibilities. MHV is at a very exciting point in the journey of serving our members and remaining relevant in their lives.”
Mills comes to MHV from Rivermark Community Credit Union where he was the Chief Technology Officer. Mills was responsible for leading the Digital, Innovation, and Technology strategies of the Credit Union.  During his time at Rivermark the Credit Union became recognized as an industry leader for its branch transformation strategy and digital delivery of member services.

Prior to joining Rivermark, Mills was the Director of Engineering for CoreLogic’s Consumer Services Business Unit where he oversaw all software development for the business unit.  Prior to CoreLogic, Mills was the Worldwide Applications Manager for Serena Software where he and his teams were responsible for the global implementation and maintenance of business applications such as SAP and  
During his career Mills has been a CUNA Technology Council Award Winner.  He has been published in CIO Review magazine and  He has been asked to speak at several industry events, and sat on the Board or Advisory Committee of AgilePDX, Mobile Portland, NCR, and WEtap Media.
Mills is a graduate of Oregon State University, has been happily married for 22 years, and has three children. He and his family are excited to explore the Hudson Valley and all that the Northeast has to offer.
