Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHV) recently wrapped up its 17th annual Veterans Food Drive, furthering its commitment to supporting the community. Thanks to the generosity of MHV members and staff, the drive collected non-perishable food items and household essentials to benefit local veterans in need.
On Thursday, December 19, staff members delivered the donations to the Wappingers Falls VA Medical Center in Wappingers Falls, NY, where they will be distributed to the Veterans Food Pantry at the Castle Point and Montrose VA Hospitals.
“We’re so thankful for the outpouring of support from our members and staff,” said Wayne Winkler, President & CEO at Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. “Their kindness will have a real impact on veterans and their families, especially during the holiday season.”
The items donated will help provide meals and essential supplies to veterans, ensuring they have the support they need. This food drive is just one way MHV continues to live its mission of “people helping people” and giving back to those who have served.
