Will the branch hours change at the former Bridgeway FCU locations?

Yes, the branch hours at the Poughkeepsie, Fishkill and LaGrange Bridgeway FCU branches will reflect the same hours at MHV effective August 1, 2016 which are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Saturday. 

Will I have access to the Bridgeway FCU Call Center after Conversion Weekend?

There will no longer be a separate Bridgeway FCU Call Center effective August 1, 2016. To contact the MHV Call Center, please dial 845.336.4444, ext. 6000. Call Center hours are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday.

Do I have to dial a new phone number after conversion weekend?

No. All Bridgeway FCU phone numbers will automatically forward to the MHV main phone number at 845.336.4444 starting on August 1, 2016.

When can I start banking at MHV branch locations?

Starting August 1, 2016, you can begin using all 11 MHV branch locations and Personal Teller machines. View a complete list of locations here and download the MHV Mobile Banking App to find branch locations while on-the-go.

Will my account number change?

Your account number will be your current member number plus the suffix. For example if your member number is 1234, the account number for your Primary Savings suffix 1 would be 12341. Please note there may be instances where a completely new account number may need to be generated. You can find all of your new account numbers on your August statement from MHV.

Will my member number change?

Your member number will remain the same unless you currently have more than one member number. In that instance your member number with MHV will be the lowest member number. For example if you currently have 2 member numbers 1234 and 3456 your new member number will be 1234. If you are already an MHV member your Bridgeway accounts will be combined under your existing MHV member number. Please note there may be instances where a completely new member number may need to be generated. You can find your member number on your August statement from MHV

Will my routing number change?

No. You can continue to use Bridgeway FCU’s routing number (221979334) or choose to use MHV’s routing number (221976243).

Will my account change?

All of your accounts from Bridgeway will be converted to a similiar MHV account.

Will I receive a new MHV debit card?

Yes, you will receive a new MHV VISA® debit card with EMV chip technology to replace your Bridgeway FCU debit card in July. Activate your new debit card and establish your PIN as soon as it arrives however, continue using your current Bridgeway FCU debit card through July 31, 2016. On August 1, 2016, you can begin using your new MHV debit card.

Please note: your new MHV debit card will contain a new number. Be sure to update the card information on record with any merchant you have authorized to automatically charge your debit card account.

Will my debit card PIN number change?

Yes, upon activation of your new MHV VISA debit card, you will be prompted to enter a new PIN. 

When will I receive a new MHV credit card?

Shortly before your Bridgeway FCU credit card expires, you will receive a new MHV VISA® credit card with EMV technology in the mail. Please activate your new card and establish your desired PIN as soon as it arrives.

Will my credit card payment address change?

Yes, effective August 1, 2016 please mail credit card payments to P.O. Box 672051, Dallas, TX, 75267-2021.

Will my credit card PIN number change?

No, however, you will have the option to change it when you are reissued a new MHV credit card. Upon activation of your new MHV credit card, you will be asked to enter your desired PIN.

Will my credit card late payment grace period change?

Yes. Effective August 1, 2016 the 10 day grace period will no longer be available and a late fee will be automatically assessed on the 26th of each month.

Will my direct deposits carry over?

Yes. Your existing direct deposits will automatically carryover to MHV and you will receive direct deposits to your account on your actual pay date. Please review and adjust any automatic payments or withdrawals made from your account to ensure your funds are available.

Will my scheduled transfers carry over to MHV’s online banking?

Scheduled transfers will NOT carry over and will have to re-established in MHV’s online Home Banking after August 1, 2016. If you have any account transfers scheduled over Conversion Weekend, please be sure to reschedule them to take place before 5:00 pm on Friday, July 29.

Will my online bill payments carry over to MHV’s online banking?

Yes. Your current Bill Pay settings and payees will carryover to MHV’s online banking. If you are a member of both credit unions, please contact us to select which bill payments you would like to continue using that you previously established in Bridgeway FCU and MHV’s online banking. 

If I deposit a check at a branch or through MHV’s Mobile Check Deposit, when will my funds be available?

The first $200 of checks will be available the next business day after the date of your deposit. Please refer to the Membership Terms and Conditions for availability of remaining balance. Checks that do not require a hold, such as payroll, Social Security, or Treasury Checks, are not subject to this change.

Will my automatic loan payments carry over to MHV?

No, you will have to re-establish any automatic loan payments you had previous set up in MHV’s online Home Banking.

Will my loan payment address change?

Yes. Effective August 1, 2016 please mail loan payments to Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union,  P.O. Box 1429, Kingston, NY 12402

Will my loan payment due date change?

The due date for auto loans, mortgages, home equity loans and personal loans will not change. Effective August 1, 2016 Home Equity Lines of Credit will be due the 15th of the month and Personal Lines of Credit will be due the 27th of each month. Please refer to your July statement all loan dates.

Will my credit card payment address change?

Yes. Effective August 1, 2016 please mail credit card payments to P.O. Box 672051, Dallas, TX, 75267-2021.

How do I make my online loan payments after conversion?

You can make loan payments through MHV’s online banking.

Will I receive new loan payment coupon books?

Yes. You will receive a new coupon book for all loans that currently receive a monthly coupon notice. Starting August 1, 2016, you will be able to easily set up automatic monthly electronic payments from your checking account through MHV’s online banking.

If I have an Auto Loan with Bridgeway FCU, will my insurance information automatically be transferred to MHV?

Yes. We will be conducting a review of all insurance documentation associated with our auto loans. If your information is not up-to-date, our vendor, Lee & Mason, will contact you directly to requested updated insurance documentation.

Is my online banking changing?

Yes, effective August 1, 2016 your account information will be transferred over to MHV’s online banking. To learn more about MHV’s online banking click here.

Do I need to re-enroll in online banking?

No. If you currently use Bridgeway's Online Banking you can log into MHV's Online Banking on or after August 1, 2016 by using your current Bridgeway username and the last 5 digits of your Social Security Number for you password. You will be prompted to change your password and may need to change your username to meet MHV's security requirements. New User? Go to mhvfcu.com and click on ‘Register Now’ to sign up for MHV's Online Banking on or after August 1, 2016.

Will online banking and audio response work while Bridgeway FCU offices are closed?

No, all banking systems will be down as we transfer accounts to MHV. Please refer to our Conversion Timeline above for exact dates and times when account access will be unavailable.

Will U-Deposit still be available?

U-Deposit will officially end as of June 30, 2016. Any checks deposited through U-Deposit prior to June 30th will be processed upon mail receipt or at a Bridgeway FCU location. Starting August 1, 2016, you will have access to Mobile Check Deposit through the MHV Mobile Banking App. Learn more about Mobile Check Deposit here.

Will I still be able to pull all of my transaction history exports for Quicken after August 1, 2016?

Before Bridgeway completes its system conversion to MHV, you will need to modify your Quicken settings to connect with MHV Online Banking. Please note this information is time sensitive and only pertains to Quicken users. Please refer to the step by step guides below. 

If you’re not a Quicken user, be sure to download .pdf files of your statements from Online Banking prior to 7/29/2016, because your account history will not transfer to MHV. To do this, login to your Bridgeway Online Banking, and select “View Statements” to see your statement history.” You can then save each .pdf file to your computer.

Important Dates:

  • 7/29/16: Export all transaction data to Quicken prior to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29 as account history will not be carried over in Online Banking after the update.

Will audio response, the telephone banking system, change?

Yes, effective August 1, 2016, you will now have access to MHV’s EARS Audio Banking System. To access EARS, please call 845.336.4444.

Will my account history transfer over to MHV’s online banking and telephone audio response?

Transactions posted prior to 7:00 pm on Friday, July 29 will NOT be carried over in online banking and audio response. You MUST export all transaction data by 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29 to ensure that you have all of the account history that you need. Only Bill Pay information will be carried over. If you need to print out a check image, please stop by any branch and any check printing fees will be waived.

Will I get any new online services?

Yes, you will now have access to MHV’s Mobile Banking App with Mobile Check Deposit, FinanceWorks™ money management tool and PopMoney. Learn more about all the services MHV provides at mhvfcu.com/connect.

Will I still be able to pull all of my transaction history exports for Quicken and Quickbooks after August 1, 2016?

Transaction history will NOT carry over to MHV’s online banking and you will be unable to make any exports of past history to Quickbooks or Quicken after 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29. You MUST export all transaction data by 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29 to ensure that you have all of the account history that you need.

Can I still get copies of all my old checks in Online Banking after August 1, 2016?

Check images will be unavailable for all checks that clear and post prior to Friday, July 29. If there are check copies that you need we suggest that you download them prior to Friday, July 29. If you do need a copy of a check that was previously available online, MHV will waive check copy fees until September 30, 2016 for all Online Banking Users’ checks posted prior to July 29, 2016.

Will I need to set up my online Bill Pay information again when the update is complete?

Your current Bill Pay payees and settings WILL carry over to MHV's online banking. Please log in to MHV's online banking on or after August 1st to review your Bill Pay information and to become familiar with the service.

I previously set up account alerts through online banking. Will I need to re-establish these?

Yes, as your account alerts will NOT transfer over to MHV’s online banking. Please write down all of your current alerts prior to 7:00 pm on July 29, 2016 so you can easily re-establish them in MHV’s online banking.

Can I Still Use Bridgeway FCU’s Mobile Banking website?

Effective August 1, 2016, Bridgeway FCU’s Mobile Banking website will no longer exist. To access your accounts on the go, download MHV’s free Mobile Banking App from iTunes or Google Play. Learn more MHV’s Mobile App here.

Will my statement have a new look?

Yes, you can expect your statements to have a new look and contain the MHV logo starting with your July 2016 paper and e-statement arriving at the beginning of August.

Will there be a delay in receiving my statements because of the conversion?

No, there will be no delay in receiving your statements.

Will my old Bridgeway FCU e-Statement history transfer over?

Your Bridgeway FCU e-Statement history will NOT carry over with the transition to MHV e-Statements. Be sure to download your e-Statement history before July 29, 2016.

Will my e-Statements change?

Yes. Your August e-statement will arrive at the beginning of September from the email address edocuments@mhvfcu.com. It is recommended that you add this email address to your address book in advance to avoid having your new MHV e-statements placed in your SPAM folder. You can expect your e-Statement to have a new look and contain the MHV logo. Please note: Your Bridgeway FCU e-Statement history will NOT carryover with the transition to MHV e-Statements. Be sure to download your e-Statement history before July 29, 2016.

Will my credit card e-Statement change?

Yes, your credit card e-Statement will have a new look.

Do I need to re-enroll for e-Statements?

Your e-statement preference will carry over to MHV however, your Bridgeway FCU e-statement history will NOT carryover with the transition to MHV e-statements. Be sure to download your e-statement history before July 29, 2016.

Is there a charge for paper statements?

Yes. Effective August 1, 2016 paper statements will cost $2 per statement. You can easily avoid this charge by signing up for free e-Statements. Members under the age of 18 or over 60 will not be subject to the paper statement charge.

Will our transaction receipts have a new look?

Yes, the new receipt will be similar to your current receipt.

Will I need to order new checks?

No. You can still continue to use your Bridgeway FCU checks. When it is time to reorder, your next set of checks will have the MHV logo and address. If you received a letter that your account number is changing, please contact us at 845.336.4444 to order new checks.

Can I still get copies of all my old checks in online banking?

Check images will be unavailable for all checks that clear and post prior to Friday, July 29. If there are check copies that you need we suggest that you download them prior to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29. If you do need a copy of a check that was previously available online, MHV will waive check copy fees until September 30, 2016 for all Online Banking Users’ checks posted prior to July 29, 2016.

What is the No Bounce Courtesy Pay Program?

The credit union, at its discretion, may pay ACH items, checks and certain electronic entries through its No Bounce Courtesy Service. To be eligible for this service, your account must be opened for thirty (30) days if personal, or sixty (60) days if a business; you cannot have any past due loans; and you currently cannot be negative more than thirty(30) days. The account will not be drawn negative more than disclosed in writing. Notices will be mailed upon initial enrollment and upon regular periodic analysis of your deposit history. A fee will be charged for each item in excess of your available balance which is covered through the No Bounce Courtesy Service; the fee(s) will be considered part of the total amount disclosed per notice. You have the right to opt out of this service by contacting us.
