Shred your sensitive paperwork/documents at this exclusive event for MHV Members.

Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm
You must sign up and reserve a time slot below. Up to 5 members may sign up for each 15 minute time slot. (Please note: Each individual with items to shred must sign up for their own time slot even if arriving in the same vehicle.) All time slots are full at this time.
Location: Main Kingston Branch, 1099 Morton Boulevard, Rear Parking Lot - follow signage or see map below.
Day-Of Instructions: This is a drive-up event. Upon arrival at your designated time-slot, you will drive-up to the sign-in area to check in with an MHV employee. You will continue to stay in your car and drive-up to the Shred Truck once indicated. You may open your trunk for an MHV employee to retrieve your shred items or you may do so yourself (please keep in mind that masks are required). Refer to the map below and day-of signage.
Acceptable Items: Paper (white or colored), file folders, checkbooks, staples and paper clips, and small quantities of plastics including ID cards and credit cards.
Unacceptable Items: Hard drives, back up tapes, x rays, videos, cassettes, cd's, dvd's, hazardous material, syringes or needles, or any heavy metal objects such as nuts, bolts, or metal plates. Paper is flammable and mixing with anything that sparks like a battery or heavy metal is very dangerous.
Limit: Each individual may bring up to 3-4 standard paper storage boxes (same size as copy paper comes in) or garbage bags.
COVID Safety Requirements: All attendees and MHV employees are required to wear a mask. We ask that you social distance and maintain a minimum of a 6 feet distance from other attendees and MHV employees. It is strongly recommended that you stay in your car throughout the whole event. Parking is not allowed unless advised by an MHV employee.
