Current Openings

AVP, Technology Integration
We are currently seeking an AVP of Technology Integration to coordinate the development and implementation of a technology infrastructure to support the organization’s current and future business strategies and goals.  The AVP will work with the MHV business units and management to understand the business needs and ensure that the technology infrastructure is integrated with all processes, applications, and hardware platforms providing benefits in efficiencies and ease of use.  The AVP will oversee the work of the Business Analysts, ensuring expected results are met.  

Candidate must demonstrate a proven track record of strong knowledge of technology trends in the financial services industry areas such as lending, deposit operations, and online banking.  Candidate will have at least 5 years of similar or related experience, a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field) or comparable experience.  Thorough knowledge of hardware, software, networks, and application software development is necessary.  Additionally, experience in Enterprises Application Integration and System Architecture processes and methodologies.  Proven leadership skills resulting in highly motivated, engaged, and effective staff is required, as are excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to manage multiple workloads with successful results.
Network Operations & Security Manager
We are currently seeking a Network Operations & Security Manager to direct the management of MHV’s day to day technology operations including network, security, database operations, and hardware.  The Network Operations & Security Manager will ensure these technologies are performing at the highest levels of efficiency and security in supporting MHV and its members.  The Manager will oversee installation, performance, optimization, user access and security of the database systems and applications installed on these systems.  Additional oversight includes the Microsoft Active Directory network, as well as installation and operations of both physical and virtual server hardware.  The Manager will also provide assistance to department and staff in the areas of network connectivity, as well as connectivity to cloud based systems, applications, and internet connectivity.  In addition, the Manager will also manage the operation and performance of the MHV network, including both WAN and LAN.  

Successful candidate must have an in-depth understanding of technology, computer servers, network routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as an extensive knowledge of networks, protocols, and system administration.  Candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and exhibit expert knowledge of data center set up, including servers, back-up storage systems, network cabling, racks, power and environmental solutions.  Certification preferred including MS Network, VM, Cisco, Security, Network Storage or equivalent college degree (BS in a relevant field).  A history of working independently, in addition to strong organizational, listening, problem analysis and resolution skills are required, as is the ability to manage multiple workloads with successful results.
Teller Positions
We are currently seeking to fill Teller positions in various branch locations throughout Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange counties. Candidates should have sales and customer service experience, and financial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities for the teller position include, but are not limited to; assisting members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments, in a professional and courteous manner, cross-selling credit union products & services, and balancing a cash drawer.

Candidates chosen will be personable, with self confidence and have an outgoing personality. Successful candidates must be motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and work well in a pressured environment. Successful candidates will be responsible to attain established goals for cross selling credit union products and services.
Call Center Representatives
We are currently seeking to fill several positions in our Call Center. The Call Center is a fast-paced, customer service- focused environment! Candidates should have sales and customer service experience, and financial experience is a plus. Our Call Center is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 8pm, and Saturday from 8am-5pm.

The role of the Call Center Representative is to assist members over the phone with their Credit Union needs by explaining products and services, opening new accounts, processing loan requests, responding to problems, making recommendations to satisfy member needs, assisting members with our home banking suite of products, and directing members to the appropriate individuals as needed.

Candidates chosen will be personable, with self confidence and have an outgoing personality. Successful candidates must be motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and work well in a pressured environment. Successful candidates will be responsible to attain established goals for cross selling credit union products and services.
