Commonly Asked Questions About Card Controls
- Yes! Card Controls can be used for both card types. Keep in mind, if you opt in to use Card Controls and have multiple cards with MHV, all cards will be enabled into the service.
- Unfortunately, the time zone for alerts can not be changed. Alerts are delivered through Central Time.
- All cards, both debit and credit, will show up in Card Controls if the service is enabled. Alerts and other contols can be used for each card individually.
- No, Card Controls can only be used for personal Debit and Credit Cards.
- Yes, by opting out of Card Controls you will no longer receive alerts and will lose access control functions. You may opt back in at any time.
- You would order a replacement card if your card is damaged and unable to be used. If your card has been lost or stolen, be sure to use the "Report lost or stolen" option instead of ordering a replacement.

If you're unable to find your card, be sure to use the "Report lost or stolen" function to get a new one.

You may also consider blocking your card as a way to curb unnecessary spending. It is important to know that by temporarily turning off your card, any automatic payments set up with your card will also decline. If you use this method, please be aware of what automatic charges you have set up to your MHV card.
- No, if you order a replacement debit or credit card through Card Controls, the expiration date and CVV code will not change. Please note, once your new card arrives please be sure to destroy the old one.
