The MHV Community Relations Committee
Central to MHV's commitment is the Community Relations Committee — a group of MHV employees who review requests for charitable contributions and partnerships. Working with non-profit and community-based organizations throughout our field of membership, the Committee focuses on four core charitable causes:

Request sponsorship
MHV is accepting applications for sponsorship of 2026 programs and events. Please submit requests 60–90 days prior to the event or when funds are needed, and include any required attachments.

Scholarship opportunities to help you on your journey
We partner with many organizations to provide scholarships, including:
SUNY Orange Foundation Scholarship
Apply entirely online, review your application status, and receive updates and a decision by email. May require an essay and other criteria — refer to the college for application and deadlines.
SUNY Ulster Foundation
Two scholarships with SUNY Ulster — one for an entering, returning, or transferring MHV member, and a second for an applicant who demonstrates commitment to community service.
Dutchess Community College Foundation
For a full-time, academically motivated DCC student who is an MHV member majoring in Business or a business-related field.
Marist College Scholarship
Apply through Marist College's scholarship application process. May require an essay and other criteria — refer to the college for application and deadlines.
MHV and NYCUA Scholarship
Through our partnership with the New York Credit Union Association, eligible MHV members can apply for this scholarship program.
