Is financial coaching really free?

Yes. Coaching is free for MHV members. Balance, an independent nonprofit financial counseling organization, provides it.

Do I have to be an MHV member?

Yes. Coaching is a member benefit. If you are not a member yet, opening an account takes about ten minutes online.

Will my coach try to sell me something?

No. Coaches don't sell products, and they don't work for MHV. Their job is to look at your situation and help you decide what to do next.
