Board of Directors Nominees

There are three (3) open positions on the Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee has submitted the following four (4) nominees for election:

William Ryan

As a proud member who has served on the Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHVFCU) board for 30+ years and as a former Chairman, I helped grow the CU to serve seven counties. With an MBA and a career at IBM and Acbel leading technical, financial, and site operations, I bring strong operational experience. Having lived in Hurley, NY, and served as a board officer for the Hudson River Maritime Museum and the Hurley Heritage Society, my community commitment is strong. I look forward to leading MHVFCU’s growth through technology improvements and regulatory excellence to expand financial options for all members.

Roger Miller

Roger Miller has been a proud MHVFCU member for more than 40 years and a volunteer since 2012. He currently chairs the Compensation Committee, serves on the Strategic Planning Committee, and previously served on the Supervisory Committee. Roger brings extensive professional experience from IBM, where he held global executive and management roles in system testing, client support, hardware and software development, and marketing. Roger holds an MBA from Union College and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University. He is committed to ensuring MHVFCU remains financially strong, well-governed, and responsive to members’ evolving needs.

Tom Fox

The Hudson Valley is my home - where I’ve built my career, family, and community. For 18+ years, I’ve been your tireless advocate. From the Supervisory Committee to the Board of Directors, my mission is simple: listen to your needs and challenge the status quo. Throughout a long management career at IBM, from development to marketing to strategic planning, I’ve proven that I don’t just oversee, I innovate. As a Board member and current Chair of Strategic Planning, my favorite question is “What’s next?” because we deserve a credit union that anticipates our needs and builds a stronger, member-first future.

William Marchetti

William V. Marchetti Jr. brings more than 40 years of financial leadership experience at IBM, specializing in financial reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, compliance, and operational management. He currently serves as the US Finance Operations Manager for IBM Research and has previously held multiple Worldwide Controller roles. A dedicated member of MHVFCU for over 30 years, William has chaired the Supervisory Committee since 2019 and actively contributes to the Asset Liability Committee. He is a Certified Credit Union Board Member with extensive expertise in governance, auditing, and risk oversight, positioning him as a highly qualified candidate to strengthen the Credit Union.

Board Election FAQ

Why is there a board election?

Board elections are a normal and required part of credit union governance. They give members the opportunity to elect or re-elect directors and help ensure accountability and continuity of leadership.

MHV’s Board of Directors consists of 9 seats, each serving a three-year term. In 2026, three board seats are open, with four candidates running for them. MHV is grateful to these members who volunteer their time and expertise to serve the credit union and represent our membership.

Who can vote in the election?

Any eligible member in good standing over the age of 18 may vote.

MHV follows the principle of one member, one vote, regardless of account size or balances.
