Home Insurance Tracking with SWBC
We’re updating how we track homeowners’ insurance and the property insurance required on your mortgage. Here’s what that means for you, with answers to common questions.

About Home Insurance Tracking
Not much for most members. We’re improving how we keep the insurance information on your mortgage accurate and up to date. Your loan and your rate are staying the same.
We may reach out when we need current proof of your coverage or have a question about your policy. To handle this, we work with SWBC (Southwest Business Corp.), our insurance servicing partner, who may contact you by mail, email, or phone on our behalf.
Yes. Any request regarding your insurance is made on MHV’s behalf, including emails from imcovered.com and calls from SWBC, our insurance servicing partner. When you’re contacted, you’ll be asked to enter the unique identifier from the email or letter you received, or to confirm the borrower’s name and the property address on the loan. You will never be asked for passwords or one-time security codes. If you’re ever unsure, don’t share any information and call MHV directly at 845-336-4444 to confirm.
Only if we ask. If we need a copy of your insurance documents, you can upload them through our secure portal at mhvfcu.imcovered.com or email them to mhvmtg@imcovered.com. Otherwise, there’s nothing you need to do.
If your loan has an escrow account, your insurance payments will continue to be sent to your insurance company on our behalf. You don’t need to change how you pay.
You can reach us the way you always have: at your local branch, through our contact center, or with our servicing department.
